The Banglar Shiksha SMS Portal is a new online platform launched by the West Bengal School Department. If you a teacher and want to log into the Banglar Shiksha portal, Follow these steps:
- Go to www.School.Banglarshiksha.Gov.In.
- On the login page, type in your school’s DISC code, your username, and password.
- Fill in the captcha and click ‘sign in’.
- If you from a primary school, add a capital ‘P’ before your username. For secondary school, use a capital ‘S’.
Steps To Enter Marks in Banglar Shiksha SMS portal?
For Summative Evaluation:
- Visit school.banglarshiksha.gov.in.
- Log in with your udise ID and password.
- Select ‘Summative Marks entry’ from the dashboard.
- Fill in the details like medium, class, section, subject, category, and academic year.
- Click on the search bar.
- Enter the marks scored by the student in a subject.
- Click on ‘submit’.
For Formative Evaluation:
- Go to the Banglar Shiksha portal.
- Click on ‘SMS Portal’.
- Log in as a School or Administrator using your DISC Code, username, and password.
- On the dashboard, click on ‘Evaluation’ and select ‘Formative’.
- Fill in the details like medium, class, section, subject, terms, category, academic year, etc.
- Click on ‘search’.
- Enter the marks scored by the student in each subject.
- Click on ‘submit’.
How to update ECA Exam Copy Allocation?
- Visit the Banglar Shiksha e-portal.
- Choose the ‘login as school’ option.
- Enter your UDISE and password.
- Fill in the captcha and click ‘sign in’.
- Select the ‘ECA’ option under ‘Evaluation’.
- Enter details like academic year, medium, class, term category, etc.
- Click ‘Search’.
- Now, you can update the ECA Entry by Subjects.
How to download Model Activity Task on Banglar Shiksha portal?
- Visit www.banglarshiksha.gov.in.
- From the home page, navigate to the ‘Digital Corner’.
- Choose ‘Student Corner’.
- Select your preferred language.
- A list of tasks will appear.
- Click on the link for the activity task (2020/2021/2022).
- You will see a list of tasks sorted by class and topic.
- Click ‘download’ next to the task you want.

- Select ‘Board Year’, enter the academic year, board name, click ‘Add New’, and submit.
- Choose ‘overview’, type the school description, and submit.
- Select ‘academic’, click ‘Add New’, enter title, description, upload an image, and submit.
- Edit the description and upload a photo in ‘school athletic’ and ‘campus’ options.
- Fill in the school timing, rules-regulations, and contact us.
- Click ‘Save and Submit’. You can preview if you want.
