The Delhi EWS admission for 2024-25 will start soon. Parents can enroll their kids in Delhi’s private schools. These schools reserve 25% seats for economically weaker sections and disadvantaged groups, with 3% of these for children with special needs. The application process starts on April 30, 2024, and ends on May 15, 2024. Lottery results will be announced on May 20, 2024.

The income limit for EWS admissions has been increased from ₹1 lakh to ₹2.5 lakh. There are 1736 schools available for EWS admissions. Selection is based on a computerized lottery.

Eligibility for Delhi EWS Admission 2024-25
- Residence: The child should live in the national capital.
- Age limit: For nursery, it’s 3-5 years for EWS & DG and 3-7 years for CWSN children. For KG, it’s 4-6 years for EWS & DG and 4-8 years for CWSN. For Class 1, it’s 5-7 years for EWS & DG and 5-9 years for CWSN.
- Income Limit: Parents’ income should be below ₹1 lakh for 2024-25 EWS Admission. However, the Delhi high court has increased this limit to ₹2.5 lakh.
