SSC GD Selection Process & Paper Pattern
- Applicants who pass all stages will be appointed as Constable GD.
- The selection process has four stages:
- Computer Based Examination (CBE)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
- Successful candidates will join various defense forces as constables.

- Candidates first take an online Computer Based Examination (CBE).
- Passing the CBE allows them to move to the next stages.
- The CBE has 80 multiple-choice questions.
- Each question is worth 2 marks.
- Wrong answers lose 0.25 marks.
- The questions are at the Matric level.
- Candidates have 60 minutes to complete the test.
(PET) Physical Efficiency Test
After the written test, candidates take a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which is a timed race. Male candidates must run 5 km in 24 minutes, and female candidates must run 1.6 km in 8 minutes and 30 seconds.
(PST) Physical Standard Test
Candidates who pass the PET test must take the Physical Standard Test (PST). Those who meet the defense forces’ fitness standards will be selected.

SC GD Hall Ticket & Call Letter 2024
The SSC Constable GD Admit Card has important details like the candidate’s name, address, exam center details, and photo. It should be kept safe until the recruitment process ends.
To enter the exam center, candidates need to bring not just the admit card, but also an ID proof and two recent passport-size photos.
