Eligibility Criteria Required Oasis Scholarship
The West Bengal government has started the OASIS Scholarship for the 2023-24 academic year. who can apply?
- SC students in grades 9 and 10, if their family earns less than Rs. 2 lakh per year.
- ST students in grades 9 and 10, if their family earns less than Rs. 2 lakh per year.
- SC and ST students who have finished Pre-Matriculation or are in postgraduate courses, if their family earns less than Rs. 2.5 lakh per year.
- OBC students who have passed grade 10, if their family earns less than Rs. 1 lakh per year.

Oasis Scholarship Registration 2023-24
The Oasis Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC has started. You can apply online from 24.07.2023. Register following these steps.
- Go to the Oasis website.
- Click on ‘Student Registration’ for 2023-24.
- Pick your district and submit.
- Enter your caste certificate number and its issue date, then submit.
- Type in your Aadhaar number, birth date, and the Captcha code, then click ‘Proceed’.
- Fill in details about your class, like when you passed, what type of scholarship you want, etc.
- Enter your family’s income and your address details.
- Make a new password and submit.
How to apply for an Oasis Scholarship 2024?
- Go to Oasis.gov.in.
- Click on “New Registration” if you’re registering for the first time.
- Choose your district. If you’re studying outside West Bengal, pick your home district.
- Enter your caste certificate details. If you’re in 9th or 10th grade, just the application number is enough.
- Enter your NSP application ID. You need to register on the NSP portal before applying for the Oasis scholarship (if you’re an SC student).
- Fill in your details like your father’s name, your birth date, etc.
- Mention your family’s total income.
- Provide your address details, mobile number, and email ID.
- Enter your educational details, like which class you’re in or if you were in the same class last year, etc.
- Finish the registration by creating a password and clicking on “Submit”.
How to Check Status Of Oasis Scholarship?
After you apply for the Oasis Scholarship, you should check if your application was accepted.
- Go to oasis.gov.in.
- Click on ‘Track Application’.
- Choose your district and submit.
- You’ll go to the application tracking page.
- Type in your user ID and session, then click ‘Check Status’.
- You can now see the status of your application.
Renewal Process for Oasis Scholarship
After you register, you get a slip and all the details. Before you renew your scholarship on the Oasis Portal, you need to log in. Then, you have to fill out the form in four steps:
- Give more details.
- Share your bank info.
- Check and lock your application.
- Submit and print your application.
First, click on step one and fill in your address. Then, enter the OTP and submit. Next, give more details like if you live in a hostel. After that, fill in your school details like where you study, when you joined, your course details, and your grades. Then, give your Aadhaar number, bank details, and how your family earns money. After you fill out the form, save it and submit it. Finally, save the PDF form and give it to the nearest office.
