The Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2023-24 is open for applications until March 31, 2024. It’s available for all courses and aims to support students with financial difficulties who are pursuing their education. This scholarship is only for students in West Bengal. The scholarship program has been updated to benefit more students.

Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2023-24

The Swami Vivekananda Scholarship, also known as the Bikash Bhaban Scholarship, is open for new applications from 12th grade students starting July 12, 2023. The deadline to apply is March 31, 2024. Students can apply online at the official website, svmcm.wbhed.gov.in, by filling out the form and uploading the necessary documents.

SVMCM 4.0

The SVMCM 4.0 scholarship is open to minority students in West Bengal who are in higher education, including Polytechnic courses. It offers financial help to those who have graduated from the State Board, Council of Secondary/Higher Secondary, or Madrasah Education this year. Make sure to apply before the deadline.

SVMCM 4.0 Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

The SVMCM Scholarship is open to students from 11th grade to postgraduate levels. To qualify, students must meet certain academic standards. Additionally, their family’s annual income must be less than Rs. 2,50,000 to be eligible for any scholarship.

Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2023-24 Amount 

  • Undergraduate students need a 60% score. They receive Rs. 1000 monthly.
  • Arts/Commerce postgraduates need at least 53%. They get Rs. 2000 monthly.
  • Science postgraduates also need 53%. They get Rs. 2500 monthly.
  • MPhil students will receive Rs. 5000 monthly.
  • PhD students will receive Rs. 8000 monthly.
  • Engineering undergraduates need 60%, and postgraduates need 55%. Both will get Rs. 5000 monthly.
  • Medical undergraduates need 60% and will get Rs. 5000 monthly.
  • Diploma students will receive Rs. 1500 monthly.

SVMCM Scholarship Application Process

  1. Visit www.svmcm.wbhed.gov.in and click on ‘Fresh Application’.
  2. Register by providing their name, email, contact number, and date of birth.
  3. After registration, receive an Application ID and password.
  4. Log in using these details and fill in the application form, including academic scores.
  5. Scan and upload necessary documents and certificates (photocopies are not accepted).
  6. Review the form for errors before submitting.
  7. Wait for approval after submission.

Swami Vivekananda Scholarship Renewal

The renewal for the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship usually starts in July and ends in January. However, the last date for the 2023-24 renewal is March 31, 2024. To renew, you need to fill out a form and submit documents like your last year’s marks, income proof, caste or disability certificate (if needed), proof of residence, and a recent photo.
