CTET Admit Card 2024, Exam Date, Paper Pattern

The CBSE is holding the CTET on 21st January 2024. Admit cards will be available on the official website two days before the exam. Candidates need their registration details to download them. The exam determines if candidates are fit for teaching jobs. Passing the Computer Based Test is required to apply for these jobs. CTET Admit Card 2024

The exam board accepted online applications for the Central Teachers Eligibility Test from 3rd to 23rd November 2023. This was later extended to 1st December 2023. Now, candidates are waiting to take the written exam to show for various teaching jobs.

The CTET Admit Card is needed for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test. It confirms the candidate’s identity, and required for entry into the exam hall, and contains important details like personal information, exam centre location, exam time, and rules for the exam day.

CTET Marks Certificate

Candidates need to get at least 60% or 90 out of 150 marks on the Computer Based Test to pass the CTET Exam. If they don’t get these minimum marks, they won’t pass.

Those who do pass will get a CTET Certificate. The government has now made this certificate valid for a lifetime. So, candidates only need to pass the exam once.

CTET Paper Pattern

The CTET 2023 exam will be online and will have 150 questions, each worth one mark, for a total of 150 marks. Candidates will have 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the exam, and there’s no penalty for wrong answers.

For Paper 1 (for Classes I to V), the subjects and their marks are:

  • Child Development, Pedagogy (Age Group -6 to 11 years): 30 marks
  • Environmental Studies: 30 marks
  • Math: 30 marks
  • Language 1, 2: 60 marks

For Paper 2 (for Classes VI to VIII), the subjects and their marks are:

  • Child Development, Pedagogy (Age Group -6 to 11 years): 30 marks
  • Mathematics and Science OR Social Studies/Social Science: 60 marks
  • Language 1, 2: 60 marks

To get your CTET Admit Card, follow these simple steps: You’ll need your online application details like your Application or Registration Number, Password, and Date of Birth to do these.

  1. Visit the CTET’s official website: ctet.nic.in.
  2. Look for the link to download the CTET 2023 Admit Card.
  3. Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth.
  4. Your admit card will show up on your screen.
  5. Make sure to download and print it for use later.
